Position - Line Lead, 2nd & 3rd Shift:


SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for efficient and accurate operation of an assigned production line. Responsible for the accurate packaging and documentation of finished products.

Reports to: Shift Supervisor

Department: Manufacturing



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the finished goods being produced on operating lines; this includes ensuring accurate data is being recorded and products are being produced and packaged following to GMP Procedures.

  • Responsible for the productivity of a production line and ensuring team members stay on task and are rotated appropriately

  • In depth knowledge of machine function and operation.  Can confidently execute the following tasks: Tote changes, Film changes, Tube loads, Cycle speed adjustments, Starting and stopping the machine

  • In depth knowledge and understanding of auxiliary equipment such as conveyors, labeling machines, rotating tables and mechanical tape machines.

  • Follow and understand all required SOPs and GMP procedures.

  • Assign and coordinate the delivery of materials to facility and lines


QUALITIES

  • Advance mechanical and machine operation skills

  • Experience with PLC

  • Mechanical Troubleshooting Problem Solving

  • Competent in MS Office products and computers

  • Effectively communicate verbally and electronically

  • Detail Oriented and Organized

  • Strong Multi-Tasking

  • Able to lift up to 50lbs


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of machine operation experience or similar skills

  • Must be proficient in speaking and reading the English Language

  • High School Diploma or GED

Position - Maintenance Technician, 2nd & 3rd Shift: 


SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for conducting all types of maintenance throughout the facility. The maintenance completed will generally be equipment based, but at times will be facility maintenance. The technician is directly responsible for executing preventive maintenance plans and ensuring equipment has optimal uptime and timely repairs.

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Department: Manufacturing



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute and document preventive maintenance plans

  • Maintain mechanic room in an organized manner

  • Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedules

  • Train line leads on basic troubleshooting of equipment

  • Conduct in-process repairs and document as required

  • Review production schedule and adequately plan for changeovers

  • Changeover equipment accurately and efficiently

  • Conduct cleaning and sanitization in accordance with the SOPs

  • Record required information in the ERP

  • Conduct all of the responsibilities in accordance with the facility GMP requirements

  • Report any quality issues to the quality department, as well as any change in chemicals or products at the facility that require SDSs

  • Follow facility GMPs and safety guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding of packaging equipment and mechanical functions

  • Good understanding of PLCs

  • Equipment integration and line setup

  • Competent in MS Office products and computers

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Able to work in teams and interact positively with staff

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Able to weld various metals

  • 5-10 years of mechanical experience minimum

  • Trade school preferred

  • High School Diploma or GED

Position - Line Labor, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift:


Title: General Labor


Reports to: Production Supervisor

Department: Manufacturing


SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for completing tasks associated with the manufacturing process. This individual will generally be completing packaging tasks, but may also be asked to do other tasks as deemed necessary by line lead or management.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Package products into desired packaging

  • Accurately count required quantities for packaging

  • Follow and understand facility GMPs and safety guidelines

  • Identify defects as defined by the quality department

  • Ensure overall product quality is acceptable and defects are eliminated

  • Assist with daily startup and shutdown

  • Clear the line daily and remove all trash and other tasks that are assigned by the line lead or Plant Management


SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Basic counting

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to lift up to 50lbs

  • Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 3 hours)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • No experience required

  • Must be proficient in speaking and reading the English language.

Position - Quality Control Technician, 2nd & 3rd Shift: 


SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible for ensuring that the organization’s Quality Management System policies, procedures, forms, and instructions are followed. This individual will be directly responsible for ensuring that product quality is maintained and regulatory requirements are followed. This individual will also be responsible for safety and for documenting any incidents in compliance with company, federal, state, and local regulations.


Reports to: Quality Supervisor

Department: Manufacturing



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all of the organization’s procedures, forms, instructions, and policies are followed by all staff

  • Inspect, document, and approve incoming production components

  • Conduct in-process testing during manufacturing

  • Conduct release testing and samples are prepared for outsourced testing (when required)

  • Record required information in relevant location

  • Ensure all GMPs are followed

  • Conduct internal audits, when required

  • Perform facility inspections and maintain quality department equipment

  • Develop (when necessary) and maintain safety procedures throughout the facility

  • Maintain and follow evacuation and safety plans

  • Promote an environment of quality first mindset
