Position - Line Labor 2nd Shift:


POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for completing tasks associated with the manufacturing process. This individual will generally be completing packaging tasks, but may also be asked to do other tasks as deemed necessary by line lead or management.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Package products into desired packaging
  • Accurately count required quantities for packaging
  • Follow and understand facility GMPs and safety guidelines
  • Identify defects as defined by the quality department
  • Ensure overall product quality is acceptable and defects are eliminated
  • Assist with daily startup and shutdown
  • Clear the line daily and remove all trash and other tasks that are assigned by the line lead or Plant Management 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/LEVELS OF COMPETENCE

  • Basic counting
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 3 hours)
  • Dependable and timely for work
  • Energetic team player with a pleasant demeanor
  • Constant pursuit of quality
  • Flexible with the ups and downs of manufacturing
  • Able to identify defects and multitask
  • No experience required
  • Must be proficient in speaking and reading the English language.
  • Military experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED

Position - Quality Control Technician 2nd Shift: 


POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for ensuring that the organization’s Quality Management System policies, procedures, forms, and instructions are followed. This individual will be directly responsible for ensuring that product quality is maintained and regulatory requirements are followed. This may include drafting SOPs and implementing new controls to ensure regulatory requirements are achieved. This individual will also be responsible for safety and for documenting any incidents in compliance with company, federal, state, and local regulations.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • All the duties and responsibilities of Quality Control Technician I
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, when necessary
  • Assist in the training of new hires within the quality department
  • Assist with customer complaint investigations
  • Assist in test method development
  • Assist in protocol execution

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/LEVELS OF COMPETENCE 

  • Attention to detail
  • Dependable and timely to work
  • Energetic team player with a pleasant demeanor
  • Constant pursuit of quality
  • Flexible with the ups and downs of manufacturing
  • Able to work in teams and interact positively with staff
  • Clear understanding of the impacts of quality control
  • Strong understanding of GMPs (FDA, MDD, CMDCAS)
  • Understanding of regulated industry
  • Statistical analysis and knowledge
  • Understanding of OSHA and manufacturing safety
  • Competent in MS Office products and computers
  • Strong communication skills and ability to train others
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs 3+ overall or 2+ years quality experience
  • High School Diploma

Position - Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift: 


POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for conducting all types of maintenance throughout the facility. The maintenance completed will generally be equipment based, but at times will be facility maintenance. The technician is directly responsible for executing preventive maintenance plans and ensuring equipment has optimal uptime and timely repairs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Execute and document preventive maintenance plans
  • Maintain mechanic room in an organized manner
  • Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedules
  • Train line leads on basic troubleshooting of equipment
  • Conduct in-process repairs and document as required
  • Review production schedule and adequately plan for changeovers
  • Changeover equipment accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct cleaning and sanitization in accordance with the SOPs
  • Record required information in the ERP
  • Conduct all of the responsibilities in accordance with the facility GMP requirements
  • Follow facility GMPs and safety guidelines
  • Report any quality issues to the quality department, as well as any change in chemicals or products at the facility that require SDSs

  • Strong understanding of packaging equipment and mechanical functions
  • Good understanding of PLCs
  • Equipment integration and line setup
  • Competent in MS Office products and computers
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work in teams and interact positively with staff
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to weld various metals
  • 5-10 years of mechanical experience minimum
  • Trade school preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED
