I am writing to describe my experience with HR Lubricating Jelly. I have utilized the product for multiple uses in the field of obstetrics intermittently over a fifteen-year period. These uses include assisting with patient examinations as well as unique applications for enhancement of sonographic imaging.
In all uses to date, I have not had an adverse event related to use of the product. I have not had a patient complain of burning or discomfort after examination attributable to its use. No other safety concerns have been observed during this observation period. Efficacy has been excellent and the product does what it claims to do. For speculum or pelvic exams, it creates the opportunity to perform the exam with less discomfort.
This formulation of lubricating jelly has a long history. That history is reassuring for safety. As I stated we are considering new applications of this formula in obstetrical imaging in part because of such a long history of safety.

I was placed on a self-catheterization therapy in August 2010. During the next six months, I tried four different brands of Lubricating Jelly, but I was never quite pleased with any of these products, especially the product’s viscosity. I started looking for other products and was told about a company called HR Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
In March 2011, I had an opportunity to try HR® Lubricating Jelly and I was extremely pleased with the viscosity and other features of the jelly. It was just what I was looking for! I also discovered another neat feature in that the container allowed for a more controlled application of the lubricant to the catheter, thereby reducing waste. I recommended this product to my Urology Clinic, and they informed me that they had made this product switch.
I have been using the HR® Lubricating Jelly every 4 hours, twenty-four hours a day, for more than five months now and couldn’t be more pleased.

We used to purchase the Triad brand of lubricating jelly, as well as the Surgilube. Once the recall hit us and the Surgilube was backordered, we were using the Dynarex brand as a replacement, and getting quite a few customers who didn’t like the consistency.
Once we switched most of our customers to your brand, the complaints stopped. Everyone seems to like it, and I’m extremely happy that our customers are pleased.
So thank you for making such a superior product!

It was wonderful to discover that HR jelly will be coming back soon. I have Crohn's disease (a gastrointestinal disorder) and I've had to have frequent colonoscopies. The surgical lubricants my doctors used always caused me terrible dermatitis, inflammation, and pain. I had used HR lubricant in the past-I used to carry a tube with me whenever I had doctors' appointments. When HR was taken off the market, I dreaded every appointment with pretty much any doctor-but gynecologists and gastroenterologists particularly. They told me that the substitutes they used were the equivalent of HR, but they weren't! I can't tell you how grateful I am to have discovered the HR Pharmaceutical website, and I'm looking forward to using the best product on the market again!

My father used your jelly for his catheters care. He has not been able to order any for several years now. He received it in cases of tubes. Is there anywhere that he can order the tubes from? When using a catheters, your lubricating jelly has worked better that anything else the provider has sent him. He was injured in a logging accident in 1985 and has to use catheters with each trip to the bathroom.
Thank you,

I have been diagnose with cancer and have following the Gerson Diet to fight it. Part of the treatment program requires enemas several times a day. Your HR Lubricate jelly works well for that purpose. It is water soluble and works better than other products that I have tried.

Such welcome news: H-R Lubricating Jelly will again be available! H-R has been my preferred personal lubricant, so I was distressed when it disappeared from my drug store. It seemed to me to be the smoothest lubricant, and so easy to rinse away. The fact that it is a sterile lubricant, although not crucial for me, bespeaks of the care in its manufacture; that is a great plus for me.
